Installation & Wiring

  • Mounting & Routing – Route the TC-501-02-4M5 cable between the Trusted input module (chassis end) and the internal FTA (remote end). Ensure the cable is protected from physical damage and sharp edges. Do not pull the cable by the connectors.

  • Connector Installation (Chassis End) – Connect the 96‑way type ‘C‘ connector (female) housed in a single‑width hood to the Trusted input module. The hood allows the connector to be wired to safety earth via the sheathed braid.

  • Connector Installation (FTA End) – Connect the 96‑way type ‘R‘ connector (male) housed in a single‑width hood to the FTA. The multi‑core screen drain at this end is wired to a green wire for connection to screen earth.
