The Bently Nevada 22810-00-14-10-02 is an 8 mm standard mount noncontacting proximity probe designed for high-precision measurement of shaft vibration and position in rotating machinery. It uses eddy current technology to provide accurate detection of both static and dynamic shaft displacement, making it essential for monitoring rotor stability, imbalance, misalignment, and thrust bearing conditions. With a linear measurement range of 80 mils (2 mm), the probe delivers reliable performance in demanding industrial environments.
Engineered for critical applications such as turbines, compressors, pumps, motors, and generators, the probe operates effectively under harsh conditions including high humidity up to 95% noncondensing. It features a miniature male coaxial connector for simplified installation and ensures stable signal transmission when used with compatible extension cables and Proximitor® sensors.
Fully compatible with Bently Nevada 3300 and 9000 monitoring systems and compliant with API 670 standards, the 22810-00-14-10-02 probe integrates seamlessly into industrial condition monitoring architectures. It provides high signal stability, excellent linearity, and long-term reliability for predictive maintenance and machinery health diagnostics.
Passive sensing device operation
The 22810-00-14-10-02 probe operates as a fully passive eddy current sensor. It does not involve any software, firmware, or electronic programming and functions solely based on electromagnetic coupling principles.
Direct hardware integration
The probe is installed directly into the measurement chain together with an extension cable and a Proximitor® sensor. Correct mechanical mounting and connector alignment are the only requirements for proper operation.
Channel-based installation structure
Each probe corresponds to a single monitoring channel within the vibration or position monitoring system. Its placement is determined by the machine’s shaft or equipment measurement points.
System compatibility by design
The probe is inherently compatible with Bently Nevada 3300 and 9000 monitoring systems. It operates automatically within these architectures without additional configuration steps.
Factory-calibrated measurement output
The probe is manufactured and calibrated at the factory as part of a standardized system. It delivers consistent output signals when used with approved system components, without the need for field adjustment.
Installation-dependent performance assurance
Measurement accuracy is ensured through correct physical installation, including probe gap, alignment, and cabling. Once installed properly, the probe functions continuously without any programming or tuning requirements.
