It is part of the 3300 XL proximity transducer system and is optimized for applications requiring high reliability under extreme environmental and thermal conditions.
This model features a 1.0-meter integrated cable and an M10 × 1 threaded reverse-mount configuration, ensuring secure installation in fluid-film bearing machinery such as turbines, compressors, pumps, and generators. It delivers precise noncontact eddy current measurements proportional to the distance between the probe tip and the conductive target surface.
Engineered for harsh industrial environments, the probe supports extended temperature operation up to 177°C at the tip and up to 260°C for the cable and connector assembly. It is compatible with Keyphasor and speed measurement applications and complies with API 670 requirements for accuracy, linearity, and system interchangeability.
The 330196-05-30-10-CN probe operates as a passive eddy current sensing device and does not require any software, firmware, or electronic programming. Its operation is based entirely on electromagnetic interaction between the probe tip and the conductive surface being monitored.
