It converts and conditions 0(4)–20 mA signals into precise voltage levels while ensuring SIL3-compliant signal integrity for safety-critical applications. Together with related modules such asTSAI-1620mandBSAI-1620mE, it supports flexible signal conversion for process sensors including transmitters, thermocouples, and RTDs.

TheFC-TSHART-1620Malso integrates HART communication capability, enabling seamless asset diagnostics through external multiplexers. In addition, it provides isolated power distribution with monitored redundancy for field devices, ensuring stable loop operation even in demanding environments.
