The ABB NTMF01 Multi-Function Controller Termination Unit (TMF) is a specialized interface module designed for use within ABB Bailey INFI 90® distributed control systems. It provides the essential termination point between process control modules and plant equipment, ensuring reliable communication and signal integrity throughout the system. Equipped with dual RS-232-C serial port termination and a dedicated control station communication link, the NTMF01 enables seamless data exchange between controllers, operator stations, and external peripheral devices.
Engineered to support both standard and redundant control architectures, the NTMF01 is compatible with IMMFC03, IMMFC04, and IMMFC05 Multi-Function Controllers, as well as INICT01, INPPT01, and INPCT01 transfer modules. Its robust design allows continuous communication between process modules, computers, printers, event recorders, and control stations while providing automatic failover support in redundant controller applications. As a critical component of the INFI 90® communication infrastructure, the NTMF01 helps ensure dependable system operation, enhanced availability, and uninterrupted control system connectivity.
