Siemens 6GK5101-1BC00-2AA3 is the SCALANCE X101-1LD unmanaged Industrial Ethernet media converter. It connects a copper RJ45 link to a single-mode fiber link. The optical interface operates at 100 Mbit/s. A redundant DC supply arrangement supports the industrial network installation. LED diagnostics and an error-signaling contact provide local status information.
The converter is intended for Ethernet links that require a transition between copper and optical cabling. Its set pushbutton supports the device signaling configuration. The optical connection uses BFOC connectors. DIN rail, S7 mounting rail and wall installation are supported. Select the fiber and verify the optical budget for the actual cable route.
