6GK5213-3BD00-2AB2 combines 13 Fast Ethernet RJ45 ports with three 100 Mbit/s multimode SC fiber ports in a managed Layer 2 switch. Redundant power input, a console port and PROFINET diagnostics support cabinet network commissioning and service.
The BD00 optical variant must be matched to multimode fiber. Before moving cables, record VLANs, redundancy settings, management addresses and every copper and optical destination so the replacement can be restored one segment at a time.
