The Triconex 3708E is a 16-channel, isolated thermocouple input module engineered for the Tricon safety instrumented system (SIS). It supports multiple thermocouple types (J, K, T, E) and provides high-fidelity temperature monitoring for critical processes. With its TMR architecture, the module performs continuous, independent diagnostics on all 16 channels, utilizing mid-value selection algorithms to maintain operation even in the event of internal channel faults.
