Description

The MVI46-GSC is a single-slot, backplane-compatible serial communication module purpose-built for the SLC platform. It provides two fully configurable ASCII ports, each supporting transmission and reception of large ASCII strings up to 4096 bytes. The MVI46-GSC allows SLC processors to interface with bar code scanners, weigh scales, printers, and legacy ASCII devices. Data is exchanged via M0/M1 files with ladder logic handling transfer operations. Configuration is performed through a user-defined data table.

Functions
