Siemens 6FX2001-5QN25 is a multiturn absolute encoder with a PROFINET IO interface. The current FS15 product is listed with 30-bit resolution. Earlier versions were specified with 27-bit resolution, so the function status must be checked before replacement. The encoder uses radial M12 connections and a clamping flange. Its absolute position information is transmitted to the connected automation system.

RT and IRT communication support integration into the configured PROFINET application. Preset and counting direction can be parameterized. The encoder profile determines how position information is exchanged with the controller. Isochronous operation is available for compatible configurations. Match the function status, telegram and GSDML file to the installed engineering project.
